How much does a website cost?

Most web designers make you sit through a sales call before they will tell you a number. We would rather just show you. Move the slider, pick the kind of site you need, and see a real range built from the same rates we actually charge.

1. How many pages do you need?

A page is one screen with its own purpose — Home, About, Services, Contact. Most small business sites land between four and eight.

2. What kind of site?

The difference is whether the site is built to be found on Google, and whether it can do things on its own.

3. Anything extra?

Optional. Skip this if you are not sure — we can talk it through.

How We Price It

A setup fee, plus a price per page

Think about building a house. Pouring the foundation and running the plumbing costs roughly the same whether you are building two bedrooms or four. Then each bedroom adds cost on top of that.

Websites work the same way. The setup fee covers the work we do once no matter the size of the site: settling the design direction, building the responsive framework so it works on every phone, applying your brand, and getting it hosted, secured, and live. After that, each page reuses what we already built, so pages are priced separately and more cheaply.

Pages also get cheaper the more you order, because by the sixth page the layout and components already exist. That is a genuine reduction in the work, so we pass it on rather than pretending page twelve costs the same as page one.

  • Pages 1–5 — full rate
  • Pages 6–10 — 15% less
  • Pages 11+ — 30% less

The Three Tiers

What you actually get

The difference between the tiers is not how good the site looks. All three are custom-designed. The difference is whether Google can find it, and whether the site can do things on its own.

Static, no SEO

A sharp online brochure

$600 setup

+ $175 per page

  • Custom design built around your brand
  • Works properly on phones and tablets
  • Contact form and click-to-call
  • Fast hosting and SSL set up for you
  • You own the code, site, and domain

Businesses who mainly need somewhere to send customers who already know their name.

Static + SEO

Built to be found on Google

$900 setup

+ $325 per page

  • Everything in Static
  • Keyword research and a target search per page
  • Titles, descriptions, and heading structure written to rank
  • Schema markup so Google understands your business
  • Image optimization and speed tuning
  • Search Console setup, sitemap, and indexing

Most small businesses. This is the tier that brings in customers who have never heard of you.

Dynamic + SEO

A site that does things

$1,500 setup

+ $550 per page

  • Everything in Static + SEO
  • Content you can edit yourself
  • Booking, ordering, or customer forms wired up
  • Data-driven pages that generate themselves
  • Integrations with the tools you already use

Businesses that need to sell, take bookings, or update content themselves without calling anyone.

The Cost People Forget

Keeping it running

The build is a one-time number, but a website is not finished at launch. Hosting, security updates, backups, and the small changes you will want as the business changes are ongoing. You can handle all of it yourself — you own the site, so nothing stops you — or hand it to us on a care plan.

Essential

$75/mo

Hosting, SSL, backups, uptime monitoring, and security updates.

Growth

$145/mo

Everything in Essential, plus content edits each month and a performance report.

SEO

$200/mo

Everything in Growth, plus ongoing keyword work and Google Business Profile management.

Why We Publish This

Nobody likes “contact us for a quote”

Most web design companies hide their pricing so you have to talk to someone before you know whether you can afford them. It wastes your time, and it means the number you eventually hear depends on how the call went rather than on the work involved.

We would rather put the rates on a public page and let you decide in private whether we are in your range. If we are not, you have lost two minutes instead of an afternoon. If we are, the conversation starts with the real work instead of a negotiation.

It is in the name. A true rate is one you can look up.
